Kudos to creative on this one! (It almost makes me want to close my laptop and read a book.)
I see what you did there, and I like it.
Yay libraries being awesome!
THIS IS MY LIBRARY, BITCHES. One of those signs is just a few block away from me.

Here ye, here ye…
HOVERCRAFT is SATURDAY!
If you live in Milwaukee or will be around then, you should go. It will be cool and full of local neat stuff that you could buy for yourself. Or for a loved one this holiday season perhaps? That’d be nice too.
Look for my booth where I’ll have copies of the latest NLC titles, as well as original artwork, prints, and sketchbook pages [link] from this year.
Following the show, there will be an after party at Frank’s Power Plant featuring the Happy Thoughts, Facts Machine, Technicolor Teeth, stand-up comedy by Jake Kornley, and special guests the Christmas Chidz (which is a Christmas and alcohol inspired magical band including myself, members of Holy Shit!, Goodnight Loving, Dinosaur Pills, Elephant Walk, Fair-weather Friends, Jaill, and more).
For more info check out the Hovercraft site here, and find them on Facebook if you want to as well.

Milwaukee sunset picture from the lakefront towards the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge. The tower under the bridge is the Allen Bradley clock tower — once the largest 4-faced clock in the world! (It’s the little things that get me excited.)
This was gorgeous in person but somehow the picture is even better. It is now my desktop background. Lovely.

Yesterday morning I was able to get to the Milwaukee Art Museum just as the Calatrava was opening. I wasn’t quite able to get the pictures I was hoping for…but I think a few of them came out nice.

Just another day at the office, except this one had tricycles.
On the eve of the 2011 Tour de France, Hanson Dodge Creative decided to hold its own cycling event to test the courage, conviction and mettle of its employees. On June 30th, those brave enough to answer the challenge gathered in the parking lot and courtyard of America’s leading active lifestyle agency. Two unique heats were held; a grueling time trial race and a blistering out-and-back bracketed sprint race. The speed, endurance and aerodynamic efficiency of the contestants would be channeled by specially-outfitted aero-Trikesters, supplied to us by our long-time collaborators, Trek Bikes. This video is a record of this historic event.
